Eagles down two, gain one

The Philadelphia Eagles have ruled out RB Brian Westbrook (concussion) for Sunday’s game against the 49ers, meaning the former All-Pro will miss his fifth straight game.

Westbrook was limited in practice all week, including Friday, but coach Andy Reid said Westbrook has not been medically cleared to play.

The Eagles will suffer a loss and a gain among their wide receivers, as Jeremy Maclin (foot) has also been ruled out, while Kevin Curtis (knee) will be active. Curtis hasn’t played since Week 2.

Also for Philadelphia, TE Brent Celek (back, thumb) is questionable after practicing on a limited basis the last two days.
