The Dolphins have signed WR DeVante Parker to an extension that will keep him in Miami through the 2023 season.
Parker leads the team with 55 catches for 882 yards and six touchdowns, as he is finally breaking through as the go-to receiver for the Dolphins this season. Parker had one more year left on his current contract but will now be around for when Miami inevitably drafts a quarterback in April to be that quarterback’s favorite target.
Henry did not practice this week but still feels confident he will play Sunday. This is likely part of coach Mike Vrabel’s plan to manage Henry’s load throughout the season and practice. He had been working out on the treadmill to keep his conditioning up. The Titans play in the early window, so we’ll know his status before the afternoon so keep a close tab on the inactives list.
Olsen returned to practice Wednesday and was limited all week but is still in the concussion protocol. Ian Thomas will get another start, fresh off finding the end zone in Week 14 and facing a Seahawks team that got beaten up by Tyler Higbee last week. Thomas has already shown a good rapport with Kyle Allen, despite the struggles of the quarterback.
