Cowboys OT Tyron Smith (groin) not expected to play in Week 11

NFL Network reporter Jane Slater tweeted that Smith will not play this week versus the Eagles.

Her tweet read: "A person with knowledge of the situation tells me Cowboys LT Tyron Smith will not play Sunday (groin). Byron Bell will start instead."

Fantasy Impact:

Smith is one of the top offensive linemen in the league and we saw what happened last week when he missed a game: the Cowboys gave up six sacks to Adrian Clayborn. Four of those sacks came against Smith's replacement, Chaz Green.

Dak Prescott is our No. 7 ranked QB for the week, but the news of Smith potentially missing another game puts a slight damper on his Week 11 prospects. Hopefully, Bell will do a better job of protecting Prescott than Green did.
