Colts TE Jack Doyle suffers possible season-ending injury

Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle is reportedly expected to be placed on injured reserve, per Stephen Holder of The Athletic.

It isn’t clear what injury Doyle is dealing with, but Holder reports there is a chance the Pro Bowl tight end is facing a potentially season-ending injury.

Related players: Eric Ebron, Mo Alie-Cox

Fantasy Impact:

We'll likely hear what exactly the injury is at some point soon, but the big fantasy news is this clears a path for Ebron to be the team's top TE. Doyle averaged 81% of the snaps per game this season and in Week 12 had a 4-16-1 line playing on 55% of the snaps. Meanwhile, Ebron has collected 11 receiving TDs and even ran for one while averaging 55% of the snaps per game this season. Ebron should be a top TE play the rest of the season. Alie-Cox is next up on the TE list.
