Celek, Eagles agree

The Philadelphia Eagles have reached an agreement in principle on a six-year contract extension with tight end Brent Celek, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

The deal is worth $33 million, with $11 million guaranteed, a league source told ESPN.com's Matt Mosley.

The extension will be formally announced this week and could be finalized as early as Tuesday, sources said.
