None of the three practiced all week. Gordon’s absence is another injury question mark for the Patriots as Julian Edelman (chest) and Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) were both limited all week and are listed as questionable for the game but will likely play Monday. The injuries to the tight ends help show why the Patriots brought back Ben Watson after releasing him following his suspension to start the season and now he’s in line to start, though the position has certainly become more of an afterthought without Rob Gronkowski.
Rams RB Todd Gurley was removed for the injury report Friday and is good to go for Sunday’s game against the Falcons.
Gurley was a full participant in practice Friday after returning on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday and is ready to face a Falcons defense that is 16th in our schedule adjusted rankings against opposing fantasy running backs. Malcolm Brown will still be involved but Gurley is back as a top option for a Rams team that is reeling and desperate for a win against a Falcons team that is even more desperate.
Fire up Latavius Murray as a flex and Josh Hill is a TE2 streaming option. Murray is on a small streak after outperforming Kamara in Week 7 and now will see more work with Kamara out. The Bears are a favorable matchup against tight ends but have not allowed a touchdown to the position since Week 1.
