Bucs TE Kellen Winslow may not play this preseason

It's looking more as if Bucs tight end Kellen Winslow may not play this preseason.

Winslow did not make the trip to Miami two weeks ago and the Bucs said he would play last Saturday against the Chiefs.

While he was in uniform and warmed up before the game against Kansas City, Winslow was held out of action. After watching him lead the team in receiving last season, coach Raheem Morris shows no desire to play Winslow and allowed Tuesday that he may not be in the lineup until the regular season opener against Cleveland Sept. 12.

"I had no interest in playing Kellen Winslow last week,'' Morris said. "I just wanted him to go out there and get out there in front of his home crowd and get him all fired up and make him come in the locker room and beg me to play a couple snaps. I didn't let him. I just love to get Kellen going out there, I love for you guys to see Kellen run around. It's always great.

Fantasy Impact:

No cause for concern just yet. If you are Winslow owner, you should be fully aware of his lingering injuries.
