Bucs clear Darrelle Revis (knee) for practice

NFL Network's Andrea Kremer reported Tuesday that Buccaneers doctors have cleared CB Darrelle Revis for action. Technically, he has been cleared for all activities for weeks by Dr. Russell Warren, who performed Revis' knee surgery in October.

Kremer reported that the Bucs feel confident Revis can do everything, and he wants to do everything. But the team will exercise caution early in training camp. No matter how you slice it, it would be stunning if Revis wasn't ready to face his former team, the New York Jets, in the season opener.

Fantasy Impact:

Revis should provide a big boost to a Bucs defense that was last in the league in passing yards allowed in 2012.
