Browns President Mike Holmgren acknowledged Tuesday that he will have a discussion with coach Eric Mangini soon about playing rookie quarterback Colt McCoy over the long haul.
But it won't happen until veterans Jake Delhomme or Seneca Wallace are healthy enough to play, which doesn't seem to be the case this week.
"The obvious thing is: If you play the young quarterback, does the young quarterback give you the best chance to win? Or are you doing it just for the future? That's kind of crummy, if you're doing it just for the future. You want to win every game," he said.
