In the best of weeks, the Patriots’ injury reports can be tough to read when it comes to figuring out who will actually be in the lineup.
On days when the Patriots don’t practice but are required to submit reports by the league, it’s even more difficult. The Patriots had to submit just such a report on Monday because they are facing the Dolphins on Thursday and four players who were scratched from the lineup against the Jets were listed as limited participants in the virtual practice.
Running backs Dion Lewis and Brandon Bolden were on that list after missing the 30-23 win with abdomen and hamstring injuries respectively. The Patriots handed the ball off just five times during the win.
