Beat: Keenan Allen had knee hypertension

Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen had a tough first play to the fourth quarter. He suffered a right knee injury, forcing him to be a spectator for a two-minute drill that fell short in a 20-16 loss to the Dolphins.

“Just hope for the best,” Allen said of his sideline thoughts for the final sequence. “Can't do anything about it.”

The early sense is Allen suffered a hypertension. In 2012, he missed the end of his junior season at California with a knee injury, that one to his left.

Fantasy Impact:

Later Monday afternoon, HC Mike McCoy said Allen is going to be fine. He showed no apparent limp when walking after the game. Looks like Allen and owners, dodged a bullet here.
