Bears WR Brandon Marshall speaks about his ankle injury

The Bears’ Pro Bowl wide receiver, who participated in practice this week for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills, said he feels “more explosive” and expects to be “back to the old days” when the Bears play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Charlotte.

“I feel like I could do pretty much everything,” Marshall said Friday. “Before I couldn’t jog without pain. It feels good to be able to go out there and get back to the old days.”

“Practice is much better this week. Much better,” Marshall said. “It feels good to be back with the guys. After a while you kind of get out of shape a little bit. I felt like I got my wind back. I feel more explosive ... getting in and out of my breaks, so it’ll be hard for [defenders] to sit on me. I think I have a little more.”

Fantasy Impact:

Marshall practiced fully all week which means he's once again a confident top 10 start heading into Sunday's game against the Panthers.
