AP reports: New Orleans Saints running back Deuce Mcallister and
five other players were suspended for four games for using a
diuretic the National Football League said can mask the use of
steroids. Besides McAllister, the career touchdown leader for New
Orleans with 55, the NFL punished the Saints' Charles Grant and
Will Smith, the Minnesota Vikings' Kevin Williams and Pat
Williams, and the Houston Texans' Bryan Pittman. All were
suspended without pay.
