Packers RB Alex Green will remain the lead back on offense. As poor as Green's numbers have been over the past two weeks and as well as James Starks has performed in the past, Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy still believes Green deserves the opportunity to be the top back.
Green is by far the fastest of the team's backs and has better hands than Starks. Green played in a run-and-shoot offense in college, and he's still making adjustments to being in a pro-style offense, so it might take him time to get going.
Green hasn't been overly productive since taking over for Cedric Benson, gaining only 154 yards on 64 carries, but the high workload keeps him fantasy relevant as a flex play.
