Aaron Hernandez's home searched

Authorities are continuing their search today for a part of a car mirror they believe is connected to the murder of Odin Lloyd in North Attleborough, a homicide that has led State Police to search the home of New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez.

A spokeswoman for Bristol District Attorney C. Samuel Sutter said today that no arrests have been made in the killing of the 27-year-old Lloyd, a Dorchester man and acquaintance of Hernandez, whose body was found Monday in an North Attleborough industrial park.

Sutter spokeswoman Yasmina Serdarevic said a silver side-view mirror, which may have broken off a car between Dorchester and North Attleborough, is being sought. Officials late Wednesday asked for the public’s help in locating it, but without explaining its connection to Lloyd’s murder.

Hernandez has not been charged in connection with Lloyd’s death and his attorneys issued a statement Wednesday saying they would not comment until the investigation is complete.

Fantasy Impact:

On Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted that the belief inside the Patriots is that Hernandez is not involved in the murder that is being investigated.
