With starting 49ers running back Carlos Hyde nursing a shoulder injury, RB DuJuan Harris is getting his chance to go from transaction wire fodder to integral role in the offense. Based on the Niners' past two games, he's making the most of it.
In those two contests against Tampa Bay and New Orleans, Harris has racked up 199 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. For a woeful offense, Harris has given a much-needed jolt, even if it hasn't resulted in a win. The return of Hyde could put a damper in Harris' fantasy value however, and that may be as soon as next week.
