Dynasty Top 200 Rankings (Post 2019 Edition)
The NFL playoffs are heating up and most fantasy leagues are over, fantasy players are counting up their winnings, and minds are wandering to the prospects of other fantasy sports. Not for dynasty leagues, however, as this is the time where stock is taken in 2019 but pivoting quickly to 2020 and beyond is pertinent.
The next few months will feature NFL Draft declarations, the NFL Combine, pro days, and the NFL Draft itself. That means rookie drafts will be scheduled and happening quickly with preparation on that front becoming intense and in-depth. Now is the time to review existing players, understand where they fit on your dynasty team and within the broader landscape.
Rookie draft picks are the ultimate trade currency and every NFL player has a price. As my friend Ryan McDowell likes to point out, this is the time where rookie picks gain value and reach peak value the moment a dynasty team is on the clock. As such, knowing your key players’ worth in draft picks is massive for those in rebuilding situations or simply need to shore up other holes. I will leverage my top 200 dynasty board and give analysis along with tiers that will give a rough idea of player value in draft picks. While every league and dynasty player will view a player’s value differently, it should represent a guide for dynasty players to work from as they think about their existing rosters, or are beginning a startup dynasty draft.
