DraftKings Week 11 Slate Breakdown with Cash and GPP Picks

Below you'll find my Week 11 DraftKings cash game and tournament strategies. By offering a general approach to the week, along with a player pool to consider, you should walk away feeling well-equipped no matter your bankroll strategy or game selection process.

*UPDATE*

  • Miles Sanders vaults to a cash game play with Jordan Howard and Darren Sproles not going to be on the field this week. The only competition he faces for carries is a scat back in Boston Scott and a newly signed Jay Ajayi. I can't imagine Ajayi is in for a big workload only one year removed from an ACL tear and just having stepped on a football field for the first time on Friday. Fire Sanders up if you need an RB at $4,100 or less

  • Emmanuel Sanders looks like he could be active which may seem to damper Deebo Samuel's prospects, however the 49ers have more players injured than they have inactive spots currently, so they may have to dress guys they don't intend to play. Either way Samuel is still a fine play at his salary.

  • It looks like JD McKissic will be tossed back into a committee with Ty Johnson healthy, so scratch him as a cash consideration. With Sanders and Brian Hill in great spots, he probably should be considered anyway.

Main Slate Cash Game Strategy

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson ($7,700) has become the Christian McCaffrey of the quarterback position—he's money every week. Thanks to his incredible rushing ability, coupled with the efficient passing scheme from Greg Roman, he has an unmatched floor at the position. He only played on 36 snaps last week against the Bengals and still managed over 30 fantasy points. The Texans rank 23rd in aFPA and this game has a 51-point total. Deshaun Watson and the Texans offense can keep pace and even match the Ravens in this contest. The probability of Jackson hitting his ceiling in this game becomes even more likely due to the fact he will probably be in a higher paced game and not sit the entire fourth quarter. Make no mistake, it's virtually impossible to play Jackson and the other two dominant studs currently priced near $10,000 (Christian McCaffrey and Micheal Thomas), but he's the top quarterback in terms of our lineup generator value metric.
