Last week, the Arizona Cardinals finished with 21 fantasy points fantasy points and were the DEF2 in most scoring formats. Through five weeks, our streaming targets are averaging 12.5 fantasy points per game.

This week, you will want to continue targeting defenses with home matchups who are favorited and facing teams with low implied team totals. We also want to target offenses with a below-average or rookie QB.

Generally, defenses have to be available on the waiver wire in at least 40 percent of Yahoo fantasy leagues to be eligible as a streaming option. This ensures we are talking about defenses that are readily available. Week 6 is in our sights, so let's look at the defensive options we're targeting this week.

Top Streaming Picks

Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers

I like to target teams making cross-country trips to different time zones. C.J. Beathard isn't a world-beater QB and a lot of his weapons are hobbled. Our Defensive SOS tool is liking this Week 6 matchup.

Mike Daniels and Kenny Clark have combined for 33 QB pressures this season and have favorable matchups against San Francisco linemen, Weston Richburg and Mike Person.

Clay Matthews has had problems with penalties and has had two sacks overturned. Nick Perry has two sacks and should find himself matched up on Joe Staley or Laken Tomlinson. Staley has been responsible for two sacks, while Tomlinson has allowed 14 total QB pressures.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has been thrown at eight times and has produced three INTs and three defended passes.

The 49ers are giving the ball away more and are in the negative when it comes to the turnover battle and rank 29th in aFPA to opposing defenses. San Francisco is an early 9.5-point underdog with an implied total of 18.5.

Green Bay's defense is available in 48 percent of leagues.
