Primetime DFS Slate Breakdown: Week 16

The Week 16 primetime slate features two games that should look quite different. The Sunday night game is projected for nearly 55 points with both teams carrying an implied total of at least 26. Monday night’s contest has a game total of just 43 points and neither team is projected for more than 23 points.

Seahawks

There may not be an offense with a wider range of weekly outcomes than Seattle. Over the last six weeks, Russell Wilson ($8,500 FD/$6,000 DK) ranks third in fantasy points per pass attempt but the Seahawks have also run at the third-highest rate in neutral game script during that span. The assumption here is that Seattle will have to throw to keep pace with the Chiefs dynamic offense but that may not necessarily be true—Kansas City is one of two teams that ranks in the bottom 10 of schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to every skill position. Still, efficiency reigns supreme when looking for quarterbacks in DFS and only four teams have allowed a higher touchdown rate through the air than the Chiefs since Week 10. Even with Seattle’s high rushing rate, Wilson will be my quarterback of choice on this slate.
