DraftKings Week 16 Slate Breakdown with Cash and GPP Picks

Below you'll find my Week 16 DraftKings cash game and tournament strategies. By offering a general approach to the week, along with a player pool to consider, you should walk away feeling well-equipped no matter your bankroll strategy or game selection process.

Update: There actually has turned out to be not a ton of shake up as many of the possible inactives (Julio, Nuk, TY, Gurley, etc will be playing). The Josh Gordon news gives a slight bump to Edelman and Hogan. I've been increasingly higher on Chubb and Cook all week and will try to get them into tournaments if not cash this week, other than that everything stands. I'm having an internal struggle not having much of anyone from the late hammer Steelers/Saints game, but the opportunity is spread out on both teams. I like Michael Thomas most of all if you want exposure.

Main Slate Cash Game Strategy

Quarterback

I can't imagine a scenario where I'm not plugging in Nick Foles ($4,700) into my cash game lineups. The pricing algorithm hasn't caught up to the fact that he's the starting quarterback. The Eagles have a pass-funnel defense in the Texans coming to town this week. The Texans allow the seventh-most passing yards per game, but rank fourth best in rushing yards allowed. Foles was a victim to touchdown variance last week against the Rams, throwing for 270 yards and looking pretty sharp in his first start of the season. Josh Adams and Wendell Smallwood ran in three touchdowns from inside the 10-yard line. With a start under his belt and a home matchup with a beatable Texans squad, Foles checks in a top value play at quarterback sporting a median projection of 17.1 points.
