IDP Waiver Wire: Week 14 Pickups and Matchup Plays

I can't believe we're at playoff time already. I hope most of you have made the playoffs or you're still battling for a spot. A few of the key injuries we're looking at heading into the week; Larry Ogunjobi (biceps) and Vontaze Burfict (concussion). We also have an LB returning from injury - Sean Lee. This will be a situation to monitor since Jerry Jones has said he'll get his starting spot back if he's active. If you're a Sean Lee owner, I'd still sit him because I don't think he's playing every snap. Leighton Vander Esch has been way too effective in the defense to take him off the field.

Update: Landon Collilns could miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury that requires surgery.

If you need to hit the wire, I have you covered. Here are the defenders to target as we head into Week 14.

Week 14 IDP Waiver Wire

Defensive Line

Dante Fowler, DE, Los Angeles Rams (62 snaps/82 percent)

Playing alongside Aaron Donald has done wonders for Fowler. He's recorded sacks in two of his last three games since being acquired by the Rams. Over 147 pass rush snaps, he's generating a near nine percent QB pressure rate. He's also getting plenty of usage on the field. He was in on 82 percent of the snaps in Week 13 and 219 total snaps since being acquired.

Javon Hargrave, DT, Pittsburgh Steelers (33 snaps/52 percent)

He'll be worth the addition in DT-premium leagues over the last few weeks. He's produced 11 or more fantasy points in three of his last four games and has three straight games with a sack. He's recording a 10.8 percent tackle rate and .28 points per snap over the last four games and should be added and deployed as a DT2.

DeForest Buckner, DE, San Francisco 49'ers (49 snaps/84 percent)

Buckner struggled his way into the bye week. While he was recording sacks, he wasn't producing much in the way of fantasy points. He had eight straight games of single-digit fantasy points. Since the bye, however, it's been a different Buckner. In his last two outings, he's recording an 11.9 percent tackle rate and producing .32 points per snap.
