Week 9 Fantasy Football Practice News & Notes for Wednesday

Jaguars QB Blake Bortles (right wrist) practiced fully Wednesday. Bortles should be fine to face the Bengals.

Dolphins QB Jay Cutler (ribs) practiced fully Wednesday. Cutler will be fine to face the Raiders.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco (concussion) practiced fully Wednesday. Flacco expects to play in Week 9, but he’ll have to get through the league’s concussion protocol by Sunday.

Colts QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder) did not practice Wednesday. Luck remains out indefinitely. Jacoby Brissett is a Sneaky Start against the Texans. It hasn’t been pretty, but Brissett is the No. 11 fantasy quarterback over the last four weeks. The Texans are No. 26 in QB aFPA.

Panthers QB Cam Newton (right shoulder) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Newton should be able to continue to play through the shoulder injury.

Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston (right shoulder) took limited practice reps Wednesday. This is an upgrade for Winston, who didn’t throw on Wednesday in each of the last two weeks. His Week 9 status is in doubt, but this is a good sign.
