Player Position Team Injury Timetable For Recovery Potential Pickup Comments
Odell Beckham WR Giants Finger Disloation, Ankle Re-aggravation Day to Day Sterling Shepard Beckham continutes to be limited in practice, but there is nothing to suggest that he will miss Week 5. Keep an eye on his status, as dealing with two injuries an be more troublesome to get under control.
Marcus Mariota QB Titans Strained Hamstring Day to Day, to be a game time decision. Matt Cassel Mariota has been limited in practice all week, but that isn't saying much as he has done very little during each practice. Mariota will be a game time decision, but is looking on the wrong side of questionable if his hamstring doesn't respond during pregame warmups.
Derek Carr QB Raiders Tranverse Process Fracture Week to Week E.J. Manuel Carr suffered a fracture as he took a direct blow to the lower area of his back. Tony Romo dealt with a similar type of injury, but Carr's youth should help him recover quicker than Romo. Carr is listed as questionable this upcoming weekend as he's turned in back to back limited practices, and although they haven't ruled him out yet, there's a chance they sit him to reduce any aggravations.
Ty Montgomery RB Packers Multiple Rib Fractures DOUBTFUL FOR SUNDAY, 2-3 Weeks Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones Like we initially stated when we found out Montgomery is dealing with multiple broken ribs, the normal recovery is usually a few weeks. Pain tolerance will be the biggest limiting factor moving forward and the Packers medical staff will make sure he's not at any increased risk of doing any internal damage.
Davante Adams WR Packers Concussion Day to day Geronimo Allison Adams has surprisingly been a limited participant in practice, but he will need to be cleared Saturday through the concussion protocol in order to get the green light for Sunday. We should know more later on today.
Dalvin Cook RB Vikings Torn ACL Out For The Season Latavius Murray, Jerick McKinnon Cook's injury did not look good as he immediately grabbed the knee after the injury occurred. The injury will cut his rook season short after a very promising start. It'll be hard to imagine that Cook will be fully cleared to play by the start of next season, but we'll figure out if there's any other damage in his knee to determine that.
Chris Carson RB Seahawks Severe Ankle Sprain/Possible Fracture Out at least 2-3 months Eddie Lacy, Thomas Rawls Carson had a successful surgery to repair the damage that was done to his ankle after his initial injury. Carson will be out an extended period of time, if not the whole season, to get his ankle back to anywhere close to 100%
Paul Perkins RB Giants Bruised RIbs RULED OUT FOR WEEK 5 Wayne Gallman, Orleans Darkwa Perkin's rib injury has not progressed as hope, as he has not practiced the last two days when he initially started out as a limited participant on Wednesday. He'll remain week to week heading into Week 6.
Marquise Goodwin WR 49ers Concussion EXPECTED TO PLAY WEEK 5 Trent Taylor, Aldrick Robinson Goodwin has been limited all week, but the expectation is that he'll gain clearance from the concussion protocol and be on the field for Week 5.
Jerick McKinnon RB Vikings Sprained Ankle Returned To Full Practice Latavius Murray McKinnon has returned to full practice after suffering an ankle injury in Week 4. With Latavius Murray still not 100% from offseason ankle surgery, look for McKinnon to try and grab hold of more touches to prove he can be fantasy relevant in the absence of Dalvin Cook.
Julio Jones WR Falcons Strained Hip Flexor Week to Week Taylor Gabriel Jones suffered the injury right before halftime against the Billls and did not return. Jones will likely have more testing done to determine the extent.
Mohamed Sanu WR Falcons Strained Hamstring Week to Week Taylor Gabriel Losing both Sanu and Jones allowed the Bills to stay in the game and ultimately pull out the win. The fact both Jones and Sanu are dealing with soft tissue injuries make them questionable at best heading into Week 5.
Jordan Matthews WR Bills Sprained Thumb 3-4 Weeks Zay Jones Matthews underwent surgery to accelerate the healing process and to stabilize the fracture he sustained against the Falcons in Week 4. He'll need a few weeks of rest and re-strengthening the hand to start to be considered a fantasy option again.

Player Position Team Injury Timetable for Recovery Potential Pickup Comments
Matt Forte RB Jets Turf Toe RULED OUT FOR WEEK 5 Bilal Powell, Elijah McGuire Like we've mentioned, turf toe can be a pretty limiting injury, especially for a skilled position player. Bilal Powell will continue to see the majority of the workload in Forte's absence.
Sam Bradofrd QB Vikings Knee Bone Bruise Day to Day Case Keenum Bradford has progressed much better as of late, as he's been able to practice in a limited fashion this week. With the Vikings playing on Monday night, he's a risky proposition if you have other options. If he's able to come out of that game unscathed, hopefully he'll continue to get healthy for the Vikings.
Willie Snead WR Saints Strained Hamstring Week to Week Brandon Coleman Snead and the Saints have a Week 5 bye, so the Saints felt like they could sit him to make sure he didn't aggravate his hamstring and be close to as 100% as possible.
Doug Martin RB Buccaneers Suspension Eligible to return this week Jacquizz Rodgers Martin returns to a Buccaneers offense although we are unsure as to how much they plan on using him from the get go.
Andrew Luck QB Colts Shoulder Labral Repair Week to week Jacoby Brissett Luck looks like he might have a chance to play this week, but unitl he does, he is still likely a few weeks away. Once we find out when he does practice, we'll update his timetable.
Rex Burkhead RB Patriots Bruised Ribs Week to week James White, Dion Lewis Burkhead returned to practice in a limited fashion last week, which means he could possibly get in full practices this upcoming week. If he suffers no setbacks, he could be ready to go in Week 5.
Tyler Eifert TE Bengals Back/Knee Pain Week to Week Tyler Kroft Eifert will be out until they get his back pain under control. Eifert is getting to the point where even when he does return, his health is a moving target where it makes it tough to trust him.
Corey Davis WR Titans Strained Hamstring Week to Week Rishard Matthews Davis continues to recover from a re-aggravation to his hamstring injury he was dealing with during the pre-season. Davis' talent is unquestioned, but he'll have to be on the field in order to see his skillset.
Greg Olsen TE Panthers Jones Fracture 5-7 weeks Ed Dickson Olsen continues to recover from his foot surgery he had after Week 1.
Corey Coleman WR Browns Fracture Finger 4-7 Weeks Rashard Higgins Coleman, like Olsen, will not be available to return until after Week 8, leaving a good window of opportunity to strengthen the hand up.
