Player Position Team Injury Timetable For Recovery Potential Picksup Comments
Devonta Freeman RB Falcons Concussion 1-3 Weeks Tevin Coleman Coleman was ruled out very early of Sunday's game against the Cowboys and did not return. He'll have to go through the league's concussion protocol to gain clearance for Week 11.
C.J. Prosise RB Seahawks Sprained Ankle Week to Week J.D. McKissic Prosise injured his other ankle in Thusday's game against the Cardinals. The guy just can't stay healthy and it is fair to wonder if he'll ever be on the field long enough to make an iimpact.
Will Fuller WR Texans Rib Injury Week to Week Bruce Ellington Fuller took a big hit in the 2nd quarter and had to leave the game. He did not return. We'll likely get some answers on the extent of Fuller's test results soon to determine if he suffered fractured ribs.
Brett Hundley QB Packers Strained Hamstring Day to Day Joe Callahan Hundley seemed to have injured his hamstring in the 2nd half as he was scrambling. However, he did not miss a snap and was able to finish the game. He'll likely have some soreness which might limit his availability during practice, but all expectations are that he'll be available Week 11 against the Ravens.
Jacoby Brissett QB Colts Concussion Week to Week Scott Tolzien Brissett was somehow allowed to return to the game after taking a hit to the head in the 2nd half. It sounds like Brissett's symptoms could've either returned immediately after the game or could've surfaced at some point after the hit. Luckily, the Colts are on bye so he should have plenty of time to be cleared by Week 12.
Ty Montgomery RB Packers Rib Injury Day to Day Jamaal Williams Montgomery was knocked out of Sunday's game against the Bears due to re-aggravating his rib injury. We'll get a better idea mid-week as to how severe the aggravation is to see if he'd be available for Week 11.
Aaron Jones RB Packers Sprained MCL 4-6 Weeks Jamaal Williams Jones was carted off with the knee injury early in the game against the Bears. He'll have an MRI Monday to determine the severity of the sprain, but normally MCL sprains take at least a few weeks to recover.
Rob Kelley RB Redskins Sprained Knee/Ankle 3-4 Weeks Chris Thompson, Samaje Perine Whenever you hear that a player is dealing with both a sprained knee/ankle, it is very likely that they are dealing with both an MCL sprain and a high ankle sprain. Kelley will likely miss a few games to get the discomfort under control, with the worry mainly being the high ankle sprain.
Drew Stanton QB Cardinals Sprained Knee Week to Week Blaine Gabbert It sounds like Stanton's knee injury could sideline him for at least a week, which mean it is Blaine Gabbert time.
Curtis Samuel WR Panthers High Ankle Sprain 4-6 Weeks Devin Funchess, Russell Shepard Samuel injured his left ankle in the end zone of Monday night's game against the Dolphins. It looked to be a pretty significant high ankle sprain, so Samuel could have a lengthy absence.
Philip Rivers QB Chargers Concussion Week to Week Kellen Clemens, Cardale Jones Rivers self reported feeling symptoms of a concussion on Monday after the Chargers Week 10 loss to the Jaguars. He has been put in the concussion protocol and becomes very questionable to be eligible to play in Week 11.

Wondering when a player is going to return from either an injury or a suspension? See below for our On The Radar section, which goes over players that are recovering from an injury sustained in previous weeks and what their timetables are for returning to the field.

Player Position Team Injury Timetable For Recovery Potential Pickup Comments
Zach Ertz TE Eagles Strained Hamstring Week to Week Brent Celek Ertz was able to practice fully on Monday coming out of a bye, which is a great sign for his availability this upcoming Sunday. Hopefully he won't suffer any setbacks leading up to Sunday, but all signs point to him being available.
Danny Woodhead RB Ravens Strained Hamstring Week to Week Alex Collins, Javorius Allen Woodhead is eligible to return to game action this week, but both the Ravens and Woodhead don't seem overly optimistic that he'll return. If he does practice this week and is active, there's a chance the Ravens ease his way back into his role as to reduce the likelihood he aggravates his hamstring.
David Johnson RB Cardinals Wrist Surgery Eligible to return Week 12 Adrian Peterson Johnson had his cast removed on Monday and is in a splint. The Cardinals medical staff will ramp up his rehab and try and get his motion and strength back in the wrist so that he could potentially be ready to play Week 12. Johnson is trending in the right direction, but if the Cardinals continue to fade from playoff contention, there might not be a need to have Johnson play and risk further complications.
Greg Olsen TE Panthers Foot Surgery Eligible to return Week 12 Ed Dickson Olsen was seen doing a workout and jogging on the field on Monday night. He continues to work his way back from surgery after a Jones fracture, and is definitely trending in the right direction. His snaps could be limited when he first returns, but if he avoids any setbacks he could be a big boost for teams down the stretch.
Jordan Reed TE Redskins Strained Hamstring 1-2 Weeks Vernon Davis Reed did not practice late last week after practicing in a limited fahsion all week. A late week aggravation is a poor sign for Reed, as he's known to recover slowly from soft tissue injuries.
Matt Forte RB Jets Sprained Knee Week to Week Bilal Powell, Elijah McGuire Forte will likely undergo further testing on his knee to figure out what is going on. It sounds like there could be an underlying issue in the knee that could potentially be causing the lingering swelling in the knee.
Chris Hogan WR Patriots Sprained Shoulder 1-2 Weeks Phillip Dorsett Hogan will hopefully ditch the sling this week and return to practice in a limited fashion. Week 11 might seem like a long shot currently, but his shoulder could progress quickly once he's able to get his shoulder moving again.
Niles Paul TE Redskins Concussion Day to Day Jordan Reed, Vernon Davis Paul will hopefully get clearance through the NFL concussion protocol and be eligible to return Week 11.
Terrance West RB Ravens Strained Calf Week to Week Alex Collins West will look to return to practice this week in hopes that his calf strain that has sidelined him for multiple weeks cooperates. It looks like he is close to returning, but I still would expect the Ravens to ease him back into playing time as calf strains do have a high incidence of re-aggravations.
Corey Coleman WR Browns Broken Hand Day to Day Kenny Britt Coleman is expected to make his return in Week 11 against the Jaguars. I would not expect much with the Jaguars defense being pretty stout against against receivers, but hopefully he'll be able to get through the game without setbacks.
Aaron Rodgers QB Packers Collarbone Surgery Eligible to return Week 15 Brent Hundley Adam Schefter reports that Rodgers could start throwing around 6 weeks after surgery. While this is definitely possible, there are still a lot of things that need to occur just to get to that point.
Carson Palmer QB Cardinals Broken Arm Eligible to return Week 16 Drew Stanton, Blaine Gabbert Palmer is droppable in all leagues as he will not make it back to make an impact for fantasy football purposes.
