In the final week of the regular season, players on teams with “something to play for” will almost certainly be the highest-owned players of the week. While players on teams trying to get into the playoffs or improve their seeding are certainly the safest plays, targeting players elsewhere could be the optimal leverage play for tournaments.

Quarterback

Matt Ryan $8,700 vs NO - Atlanta has the highest implied point total of the week (31.75) in a game with the highest over/under (56.5). Only one quarterback has more fantasy points per attempt over the last six weeks than Matt Ryan.

Russell Wilson $7,600 @ SF - Seattle is favored by 9.5 with a projected point total over 26. Only two teams have allowed more fantasy points per pass attempt over the last six weeks than San Francisco.
