DraftKings Week 13 GPP Breakdown

On the theory segment in this week’s DFS MVP podcast, TJ Hernandez and I discussed how to exploit salary changes. This week, there are a ton of price drops worth exploiting. There are also a multitude of viable options across the slate, so don’t get too hung up on the Saints-Lions game, as there will likely be a lot of overlap with users either stacking that game or using the cheaper players in that game to fill holes in their lineup.

QB

Update: With snow expected in Chicago, both QBs in this game recieve a slight downgrade due to the possibility both teams go run-heavy.

Matt Barkley $5,000 vs. SF

Barkley was able to attempt 54 passes and throw for 316 yards last week because the Bears ended up playing 80 snaps on offense, but they have a chance to approach that number against a 49ers defense that allows the most plays per game in the league (70.4). The 49ers are ranked 30th in QB aFPA.

Colin Kaepernick $6,100 @ CHI

Only Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins have averaged more DK PPG over the last four weeks (26.9). He’s also averaging 26.4 PPG on the road this season. He’ll be on the road against an unimposing Bears defense that has given up multiple TD passes in four of its last five games (with the lone exception being Sam Bradford).
