Niche Site (Yahoo!, FantasyAces, DraftDay) Week 1 Breakdown
Below is a breakdown of general strategy on Yahoo!, DraftDay, and FantasyAces. These niche sites offer DFS players the opportunity to "shop around" for the best pricing on a player they may want exposure to in a particular week. Players who offer value because their price is vastly different from the Big 2 sites will be pointed out below.
Yahoo!
QB
Dak Prescott is the best option at QB at only $20. Ben Roethlisberger and Carson Palmer (both $32) both make for solid GPP plays priced outside the top 10 QBs given that they both have team totals of over 26. I like paying up for Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck (both $36) because they probably will be low owned, but own our two highest projected ceilings.
RB
Ezekiel Elliott ($24) is a bargain here, priced at only 75% of the top RB, compared to 89% on FanDuel and 94% on DraftKings. He’s in line for a huge workload and opportunity is paramount at the RB position. Spencer Ware ($12) is my preferred cheap RB as a 7-point home favorite. James White is better suited to PPR and Christine Michael is a solid GPP play, but his workload is unclear.
