Week 15 Essential NFL Practice News & Notes for Friday
Eagles QB Sam Bradford (left shoulder, probable) took full practice reps all week and is probable for Week 15. Bradford is expected to start against the Cardinals, but he’s not an appealing streaming option. He has only accounted for more than one touchdown in three of his 11 games this year.
Patriots QB Tom Brady (illness, questionable) missed practice Friday and is questionable for Week 15. Brady is expected to start, though owners may want to have a backup plan handy just in case. The Patriots play early on Sunday.
Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (left thumb, probable) took full practice reps all week and is probable for Week 15. Fitzpatrick has 15 total touchdowns in his last six games. He’s good to go for a difficult matchup against the Cowboys.
Texans QB Brian Hoyer (concussion, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 15. It’s going to be T.J. Yates this week. This isn’t necessarily bad for DeAndre Hopkins, though it is a bit of a concern.
Broncos QB Peyton Manning (foot, out) missed practice Friday after taking limited reps Thursday and is out for Week 15. Brock Osweiler will start Week 15. It’s a fairly nice matchup for a Steelers defense that has fared pretty well, fantasy-wise.
Browns QB Johnny Manziel (right elbow, probable) took full practice reps all week and is probable for Week 15. Manziel is averaging 233 passing yards and 1.2 TD in five starts. He has a bad matchup with the Seahawks this week.
Ravens QB Matt Schaub (chest, probable) took full practice reps again Friday and is probable for Week 15. Schaub didn’t look comfortable in practice early in the week, per beat writer Jeff Zrebiec. The probable tag means that he’s all but certain to play.
