Thanksgiving Slate
Given the popularity of the Thanksgiving slate, I thought I'd use our Lineup Generator to find the optimal Thanksgiving slate lineup according to our projections. Below is the lineup:
Although Cam Newton is going to be the highest-owned QB, our algorithms suggest saving at QB is the way to go. Assuming both play, I like the idea of using Mark Sanchez ($6,700) in place of Matthew Stafford at QB and Alshon Jeffery ($7,600) in place of Marquess Wilson at WR, then bumping down from Darren McFadden to Jonathan Stewart ($7,100) and from Mason Crosby to Matt Prater ($4,500). The guys I'll be avoiding in cash are Dez Bryant in a matchup with Josh Norman, and Eddie Lacy because there are too many other trustworthy RBs to put faith in Lacy after one good game.

Sunday-Monday Slate
As far as the Sunday slate, what stands out is where the value is concentrated at each position. With a ton of inexpensive value plays at QB and RB, it makes sense to take that value and pay for consistency at WR. Let's get in to the plays.
QB Josh McCown $6,300 @ BAL
Despite being forced from two games due to injury this season, McCown is still averaging 271 passing yards per game and has failed to throw multiple TDs only twice in seven starts. McCown's matchup is excellent. as only the Saints have a worse QB aFPA ranking than the Ravens. Baltimore has allowed a 19:4 touchdown-to-interception ratio this season.
