Sneaky Starts: Week 13
As injuries pile up, all but the luckiest fantasy owners at some point need to find the proverbial diamond in the rough -- a waiver wire or bench player who is capable of putting up some points in a pinch. This weekly feature is dedicated to that part of fantasy football. It's not pretty, but it's part of the game.
Week 12's Sneaky Starts included Colin Kaepernick (QB7), Bryce Brown (RB1), Cecil Shorts (WR6), Justin Blackmon (WR13), Julian Edelman (WR19), T.Y. Hilton (WR29) and Dustin Keller (TE2).

Jaguars QB Chad Henne (@ BUF)
Henne has thrown for 615 yards and six TDs in the last two games and has a nice matchup with the Bills this week (#19 in QB aFPA). It looks like Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and Justin Blackmon (groin) will play, so Henne should have a nice fantasy line.
Titans QB Jake Locker (vs. HOU)
Locker has averaged 232 yards and 1.4 TDs in five starts this season (not counting Week 4, when he hurt his shoulder). This week, he faces a Texans defense that has struggled mightily against the pass in the last two weeks (giving up 795 yards and six TDs to Matthew Stafford and Chad Henne).
Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (vs. NE)
Tannehill is a tough guy to figure out. On the whole, he was not-so-good in three great matchups against the Colts, Titans and Bills (averaging 216 yards, 0.7 TDs and 1.7 INTs), but turned around and had a solid fantasy line (253 yards, a TD and 33 rushing yards) against a good Seahawks defense. This week he should have a nice game against the Patriots, who are #31 in QB aFPA.
Eagles RB Bryce Brown (@ DAL)
Brown rushed for 178 yards and two TDs against the Panthers last week, and while the Cowboys are a lot better against the run, Brown should still get enough work to post solid fantasy RB2 numbers.
Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (vs. TB)
Moreno proved to be a capable all-around RB, gaining 111 total yards on 24 touches in Week 12 against the Chiefs. He has another good matchup against the Buccaneers in Week 13.
