FanDuel Week 8 Freeroll: Looking for value

We're continuing our weekly $500 freerolls at FanDuel -- think you can beat our very own Josh Moore? If so, you'll win a cool $5, maybe more if you score big. All you have to do is assemble your team in FanDuel's weekly salary cap format. Enter now.

A few weeks ago we debuted a new tool for subscribers that identifies the best FanDuel values in any given week. The lower the $/Point, the better the value. Here are the first few rows of the table so you have an idea of what it's all about.

FanDuel 8

Let's take a look at the top 5 values at each position for Week 8:
QBs
1. Michael Vick ($406)
2. Matt Hasselbeck ($424)
3. Ben Roethlisberger ($431)
4. Andy Dalton ($433)
5. Cam Newton ($434)
Vick and Newton look like good plays on the higher end of the salary spectrum, while Dalton and Hasselbeck are nice bargain plays this week. Roethlisberger is more of a middle-of-the-road option.
RBs
1. Pierre Thomas ($408)
2. Chris Johnson ($417)
3. Ray Rice ($425)
4. Fred Jackson ($435)
5. Darren Sproles ($448)
Johnson has a chance for a big game in a terrific matchup with a bad Colts rush defense. Going with a combo of Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles isn't a bad idea against the Rams, though there's a chance that Chris Ivory is the only RB to score a TD in Week 8. (Sean Payton implied that Ivory would be the goal-line back with Mark Ingram sidelined.) Another good value is DeMarco Murray at $6700. He has a chance for another big game with Felix Jones and Tashard Choice likely out.
WRs
1. Antonio Brown ($441)
2. Wes Welker ($442)
3. Calvin Johnson ($457)
4. Emmanuel Sanders ($492)
5. A.J. Green ($495)
Both Brown and Sanders are good options this week if Hines Ward is out, and it appears he will be. Welker and Johnson are expensive options, but have been very trustworthy this year. A.J. Green is a nice moderately expensive option at $6,900. Also consider Marques Colston at $7,200 ($516), though the Saints may not have to throw much to put away the Rams.
TEs
1. Jimmy Graham ($531)
2. Fred Davis ($585)
3. Owen Daniels ($631)
4. Ed Dickson ($633)
5. Brandon Pettigrew ($634)
Once again, Jimmy Graham is looking like a great start this week. Davis is less dependable, but at $6,700 he's a bargain.
