Fantasy Football Sneaky Starts: Week 7

Tebow

As injuries pile up and the bye weeks continue, all but the luckiest fantasy owners will at some point need to find the proverbial diamond in the rough -- a waiver wire or bench player who is capable of putting up some points in a pinch. This weekly feature is dedicated to that part of fantasy football. It's not pretty, but it's part of the game.

QUARTERBACKS

Tim Tebow, Broncos
It's Tebow Time, kids, so you might as well embrace it. He scored 17 fantasy points in a half of play against the Chargers in W5 and has had the bye week to prepare for the Dolphins, who have given up the 3rd-most Adjusted FP to QBs this season.
Colt McCoy, Browns
I listed McCoy here last week and he came through with a pair of TDs to go along with 215 yards passing. He is QB13 in terms of fantasy points per game, yet he's still available in 73% of ESPN leagues. The Seahawks have given up the 8th-most Adjusted FP to QB this year and will be without their best cornerback, Marcus Trufant.
Matt Cassel, Chiefs
The Raiders aren't great against the pass (5th-most Adjusted FP allowed to QBs) and Cassel has seven TDs and only one INT in his last three games.
