FanDuel Week 5 Freeroll Contest: Looking for Value

A couple of weeks ago we debuted a new tool for subscribers that identifies the best FanDuel values in any given week. The lower the $/Point, the better the value. Here are the first few rows of the table so you have an idea of what it's all about.

Let's take a look at the top 5 values at each position...

1. Curtis Painter ($398)

2. Tarvaris Jackson ($403)

3. Cam Newton ($410)

4. Aaron Rodgers ($410)

5. Michael Vick ($422)

There are a couple of undependable options in Painter and Jackson along with three "studs" in Newton, Rodgers and Vick. Note that Mark Sanchez (who has a matchup with a very bad Patriots pass defense) also chimes in at $422.

2. Arian Foster ($460)

3. Ryan Mathews ($461)

4. Ahmad Bradshaw ($461)

5. Jahvid Best ($472)

Jackson looks like a no-brainer start against an Eagles defense that has given up a ton of fantasy points to opposing RBs this season. Foster has a terrific matchup with poor Raiders rush defense. Bradshaw won't have Brandon Jacobs vulturing any carries this week, so he's a nice play as well.

2. Jeremy Maclin ($470)

3. Larry Fitzgerald ($474)

4. Julio Jones ($476)

5. Steve Smith ($486)

Holmes, Maclin and Jones all represent excellent value at the $7000 price point (or less). This week, WR looks like a spot to focus on value instead of studs.

2. Jimmy Graham ($561)

3. Jermichael Finley ($570)

4. Dustin Keller ($571)

5. Rob Gronkowski ($590)

Daniels looks like a good value, especially with the extra targets he'll see with Andre Johnson sidelined, but keep in mind that the Raiders did a great job of shutting down Gronkowski last week.
