Fantasy Football Sneaky Starts: Week 16

Bell

As injuries pile up, all but the luckiest fantasy owners will at some point need to find the proverbial diamond in the rough: a waiver wire or bench player who is capable of putting up some points in a pinch. This weekly feature is dedicated to that part of fantasy football. It's not pretty, but it's part of the game.

Here's a look at the sneakiest QB, RB, WR and TE plays for Week 16...

QUARTERBACKS

Matt Moore, Dolphins (@ NE)
Moore has at least one TD in each of his last five games and has counted for 2+ TDs in three of his last five outings. This week he has the Patriots, who have given up the most Adjusted FP to QBs this season. Miami will likely trail throughout the game, which means Moore should rack up some fantasy points playing catch up.
Kyle Orton, Chiefs (vs. OAK)
The Raiders aren't very good against the pass -- allowing the 3rd-most Adjusted FP against QBs this season -- and Orton looked relatively sharp against the Packers last week. He has a pretty good group of receivers that includes a stud (Dwayne Bowe), a solid possession guy (Steve Breaston) and a dangerous weapon out of the backfield (Dexter McCluster).
