FanDuel Week 14 Contest: Looking for Value

We're continuing our weekly $500 contests at FanDuel -- think you can beat our very own Josh Moore? If so, you'll win a cool $5, maybe more if you score big. All you have to do is assemble your team in FanDuel's weekly salary cap format. Enter now. (Note: There's a $2 entry fee this week, but Josh will be playing with his hands tied. Details here.)

We debuted a new tool this season for subscribers that identifies the best FanDuel values in any given week. The lower the $/Point, the better the value. Here are the first few rows of the table so you have an idea of what it's all about.

Let's take a look at the top 5 values at each position for Week 14:
QBs
1. Rex Grossman ($374)
2. Tarvaris Jackson ($378)
3. Aaron Rodgers ($388)
4. Matt Hasselbeck ($408)
5. Carson Palmer ($420)
Grossman has a terrific matchup with the Patriots, who have given up an average of 310 passing yards and 1.5 pass TDs on the season. Rodgers is always a great start, but he's pricey. Palmer looks like a nice start against the Packers, but keep in mind that he'll be without Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford this week.
RBs
1. Marshawn Lynch ($383)
2. Maurice Jones-Drew ($418)
3. Ray Rice ($418)
4. Arian Foster ($$437)
5. Roy Helu ($442)
Expensive RBs dominate the top 5 this week, with all but Helu checking in at $8300+. If you're looking for a discounted option, Helu is a good value at $6900, whlie C.J. Spiller ($459), Reggie Bush ($472) and LeGarrette Blount ($488) are worth consideration, though Blount burned more than a few bridges after his debacle last week against the Panthers.
WRs
1. Golden Tate ($488)
2. Wes Welker ($497)
3. Calvin Johnson ($499)
4. Santana Moss ($500)
5. Damian Williams ($505)
Moss looks like a great start against the Patriots, who have given up more fantasy points to WRs than any other team in the league. Williams also figures to see lots of targets with Nate Washington iffy and a matchup with the Saints looming.
TEs
1. Jimmy Graham ($483)
2. Rob Gronkowski ($502)
3. Tony Gonzalez ($576)
4. Jason Witten ($584)
5. Jermichael Finley ($612)
Graham and Gronk continue to be consistent WR1-type weapons at the TE position, so they are head and shoulders above the rest of the tight end crowd. If you're looking for a bargain, consider Brent Celek at $5200. In the last four games he played with Michael Vick, Celek was targeted 34 times, catching 22 passes for 249 yards and two TDs.
