Seattle Seahawks

1(31) Kelly Jennings CB	Miami (Fla.)
2(62) Darryl Tapp DE	Virginia Tech
4(128) Rob Sims OG	Ohio State
5(163) David Kirtman FB	USC
7(239) Ryan Placemaker P Wake Forest
7(249) Ben Obomanu WR	Auburn

Day One Analysis: Looked like a race between Johnathan Joseph and Kelly
Jennings for the top pick in Seattle and when Joseph was off the board it was
a no-brainer. Darryl Tapp went a little earlier than expected but he does
address another position the Seahawks were looking for.

Day Two Analysis: Rob Sims was the first and best selection the Seahawks
made. I thought the other three selections were all reaches or were made
when better prospects were on the board.

Fantasy Impact: No offensive skill position players taken early and Jennings
and Tapp will probably share time as rookies so I can’t see an impact like Lofa
Tatupu made as a rookie a year ago.

Overall Grade: C
