as of Tuesday May 2, 2006

Pittsburgh Steelers

1(25) Santonio Holmes WR	Ohio State
2(83) Anthony Smith S	Syracuse
3(95) Willie Reid WR	Florida State
4(131) Willie Colon OG	Hofstra
4(133) Orien Harris DT	Miami (Fla.)
5(164) Omar Jacobs QB	Bowling Green
5(167) Charles Davis TE	Purdue
6(201) Marvin Philip C	California
7(240) Cedric Humes RB	Virginia Tech

Day One Analysis: the trade for Santonio Holmes was rumored most of the
day, it was just a question as to what team the Steelers would trade with
and when they would pull the trigger. The Steelers didn’t hide their pleasure
for Willie Reid, I was just surprised they went their and not for a big defensive
tackle.

Day Two Analysis: the defensive tackle I was waiting for Pittsburgh to take
came in the form of Orien Harris, great value in the 4th round. Omar Jacobs
was a surprising pick but depth at quarterback is needed after the Steelers
struggled without Big Ben in the lineup last year. This was another solid overall
draft effort.

Fantasy Impact: Santonio Holmes will see action and catch at least 30 passes
and 4-6 touchdowns. No other immediate fantasy impact can be seen.

Overall Grade: B
