Day One Analysis: When the Texans made it known they were taking Mario
Williams my first thoughts went to the Saints. New Orleans had to be the
happiest team in the NFL and I thought for sure they would deal the pick to
the highest bidder. I was more shocked that the Saints stayed put than I was
that Houston took Mario Williams. You can’t fault the Saints for taking a player
like Bush but they had some good offers on the table…the teams were calling.
Time will tell whether they made the right choice. To follow up their selection
of Bush with Roman Harper was frustrating to watch…a player that many didn’t
see getting drafted until the 4th or 5th round.

Day Two Analysis: Jahri Evans will start at the NFL level in a few years and
was a great 4th round pick. Zach Strief and Marques Colston were outstanding
final round picks and pushed New Orleans into the “A” category.

Fantasy Impact: Reggie Bush....I don’t need to say anything else.

Overall Grade: A-
