Kansas City Chiefs

1(20) Tamba Hali DE	Penn State
2(54) Bernard Pollard S	Purdue
3(85) Brodie Croyle QB	Alabama
5(154) Marcus Maxey CB	Miami (Fla.)
6(186) Tre Stallings OG	Mississippi
6(190) Jeff Webb WR	San Diego State
7(228) Jarrad Page S	UCLA

Day One Analysis: Kudos to the Chiefs for looking at the defense but Tamba
Hali may have been the biggest first round stretch we saw. Hali is seen as more
of a run stopper at the NFL level while the Chiefs need to pressure the
quarterback. Hali is a good player but I thought he would be a better fit
elsewhere. Bernard Pollard is the type of safety the Chiefs need, someone who
hits like a truck. I expect big things from Pollard in the future. Brodie Croyle
was the quarterback I had the Chiefs taking and is the perfect prospect to take
over for Trent Green in the future.

Day Two Analysis: Of all the wide receivers the Chiefs had to choose from
they take Jeff Webb? There are major question marks about everyone selected
on day two. This was forgettable after a decent first day to the draft.

Fantasy Impact: I don’t see anyone on day 1 that can make a big impact as
a rookie. Croyle will be going to an established team with some targets so he
is worthy of a selection in your Dynasty league.

Overall Grade: C
