Danny Ware vs. New England
Ware got no work against the 49ers and he remains an after thought in the Giants offense, buried on the depth chart behind Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. While the matchup against the Patriots is better than it was two weeks ago against the 49ers, it’s hard to envision Ware getting much work. Keep him on the bench, even in a weak field of fantasy options.

Danny Ware vs. San Francisco
Ware should be healthier this week as he was hobbled against the Packers, despite playing through it. Still, he’s the third running back on the depth chart facing the best run defense in the NFL. I think it’s safe to say that Ware should not be in your fantasy lineup.

Danny Ware vs. Atlanta
Ware is splitting backup carries, which isn’t a great sign for fantasy owners. Last week, he managed 19 yards last week on his two carries, and he added an eight yard reception. This looks like an average outing for Ware and fantasy owners can expect much of the same from him this week against a tough Atlanta run defense.

Danny Ware vs. Dallas
Ware had three carries last week against the Jets and gained 20 yards. He remains the third option in the backfield, and unless that changes, there’s no reason to think his production will improve. This is especially true against a formidable Dallas run defense.

Danny Ware vs. Green Bay
Ware continues to be the change-of-pace back behind the bigger Brandon Jacobs while Ahmad Bradshaw is out. He had only five carries for 23 yards last week against the Saints, but he was active in the passing game, catching five dump off passes for 45 yards. Ware is a better receiver than Jacobs, so he has a chance to remain a viable option for Eli Manning on third downs.
However, when Bradshaw comes back (possibly even this week), Ware will be buried on the depth chart. As it stands now, Ware has minimal value anyway playing behind the more accomplished Jacobs. Ware hasn’t shown enough in the running game to earn a lot of work, so he should remain on the waiver wire until his status on the team changes.

Danny Ware vs. New Orleans
Ware is a change-of-pace, complimentary back to the bruising Brandon Jacobs. With Ahmad Bradshaw injured Ware has gotten some more work but he hasn’t produced. Last week he actually gained negative yards on his three carries. There’s no reason to think this trend changes moving forward and Ware belongs on the waiver wire.

Danny Ware vs. Philadelphia
Ware had nine carries last week, but only had 34 yards. He did catch five passes for another 34 yards receiving, but overall he’s not getting the kind of opportunities or production to warrant fantasy consideration. Despite the excellent matchup against the struggling Eagles, Ware holds very little value unless something happens to Brandon Jacobs.

Danny Ware vs. San Francisco
When Ahmad Bradshaw was inactive for the game last week, Ware got a chance to move up the depth chart. As a result, he gained 23 yards on seven carries. Expect similar production this week, with extra downside due to the matchup. The 49ers currently are tops in the league against the run, and there likely will be limited room to run against the likes of Justin Smith, Navarro Bowman and Patrick Willis.

Danny Ware vs. Buffalo
When Brandon Jacobs is in the lineup, he shares carries with starter Ahmad Bradshaw. Last week against the Seahawks, Ware only had four carries to Bradshaw’s 17. While Ware did catch a pass for 22 yards, he was ineffective in his limited rushing opportunities and he’s unlikely to get much larger a workload, even if Jacobs continues to miss time. As long as Bradshaw is in front of him, Ware holds no fantasy value.
