Week 16 opponent: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 20th in the NFL (21.7 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
I'm beginning to run out of ways to say that Naanee isn't a useful fantasy football player. This season, hopefully, has really illustrated to Carolina's management that they need to add a receiver (or two) in the upcoming 2012 NFL Draft.

Week 15 opponent: at Houston Texans
Houston's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 8th in the NFL (18.2 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee's 2.5 receptions and 31 yards per game over the last month aren't going to cut it. He may have finally scored a TD in Week 13, but that came against Tampa Bay. Who isn't scoring against the Bucs these days?

Week 14 opponent: vs. Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 21st in the NFL (22.2 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee scored 11.8 fantasy points in PPR leagues last week, his highest total of the year. That should say it all, but for a guy to have his best game when he only records two catches for 38 yards and a score shouldn't even be considered a bench player.

Week 13 opponent: at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 20th in the NFL (22.2 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee peaked in Week 10 with eight receptions and 75 yards, but there's not much of a view at the top of this mountain. His consistent underwhelming performances pushed him out of the starting lineup last week meaning you should look elsewhere for sleeper production.

Week 12 opponent: at Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis' fantasy points allowed to WRs: 30th in the NFL (25.2 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee remains on the fringes of "add-able" fantasy WRs but since he hasn't scored a touchdown this year, he should remain on the waiver wire. Naanee is averaging five receptions for 55 yards in his last three games, which is solid, but not up to par with what you need.

Week 11 opponent: at Detroit Lions
Detroit's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 6th in the NFL (15.7 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee was finally able to convert his high target count into receptions and yards. He's coming off his best game of the year statistically. Naanee and Brandon LaFell both continue to take turns looking like the Panthers' No. 2 receiver but neither player is fantasy-ready.

Week 8 opponent: vs. Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 8th most in the NFL (24.9 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
In spite of his increased role with the Carolina Panthers, Naanee isn't producing much more than his last two seasons with San Diego. Naanee is set to have a career-high in both targets and receptions, yet he's scoring 2.7 fantasy points per game. For whatever reason though, optimism should still abound since Newton is capable of supporting two fantasy receivers; it's just a question of whether that second receiver will be Naanee or Brandon LaFell.

Week 7 opponent: vs. Washington Redskins
Detroit's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 10th fewest in the NFL (17.4 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Out of 35 targets, Naanee has only managed 14 receptions for 169 yards and no TDs. The potential is there and he's bound to break out of his slump sooner or later. Unfortunately, you can't really afford to use a roster spot on him unless you're desperate. Keep an eye on him though.

Week 6 opponent: at Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 3rd most in the NFL (28.6 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee very quietly had 19 targets in the last two weeks, but was only able to convert that attention into eight receptions for 83 yards. That's nothing to get excited about, but the opportunity is there. If Naanee continues to see this many looks, it's only a matter of time before he has a great game. This matchup Atlanta is about as favorable as it will get for him.

Week 5 opponent: vs. New Orleans Saints
New Orleans' fantasy points allowed to WRs: 11th most in the NFL (24.1 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee is a big target, but he's definitely not making the most of his No. 2 WR position on the depth chart. He has 25 targets, fourth-most on the team behind Steve Smith, Jonathan Stewart and Greg Olsen. The problem is, he's only turned those 25 targets into eight receptions. Naanee needs to get it together, until then, he's not a viable fantasy player.

Week 4 opponent: at Chicago Bears
Chicago's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 12th fewest in the NFL (19.7 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee has the seventh-most receptions on the team and the sixth-most yards. This isn't exactly a ringing endorsement from either myself or Cam Newton. Don't bother with him.

Week 3 opponent: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 16th most in the NFL (21.9 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee isn't receiving enough targets to warrant a roster spot. Even if locks down the slot, he'll still be competing with Brandon LaFell and Greg Olsen to be the team's second-best pass catcher. Leave him on waivers.

Week 2 opponent: vs. Green Bay Packers
Green Bay's fantasy points allowed to WRs: 4th most in the NFL (37.1 ppg)
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee is still third on the depth chart for the Panthers. Brandon LaFell is very firmly the No. 2 option. Naanee will continue to battle for that spot on the depth chart but until he has it, he's not worth a roster spot just yet.

Week 1 opponent: @ Arizona Cardinals
Arizona's fantasy points allowed to WRs (2010): 15th fewest in NFL
Fantasy Outlook
Naanee is currently listed as the No. 3 receiver for the Panthers. Unless Cam Newton is the second coming of Dan Marino, it's unlikely Naanee is able to do a whole lot in the rookie QB's first game.
