Todd Heap, Week 17
After catching seven passes in Week 15, Heap managed just two receptions last week. That's probably more of a realistic total. You can do better.

Todd Heap, Week 16
How 'bout that, Todd Heap is still playing this season. He caught seven passes on nine targets last week. But at this point, you have to consider that more of a fluke than a trend. He hadn't caught a pass since Week 4.

Todd Heap, Week 9
It appears that Heap could return this week, but it may be with John Skelton at QB. That's a scary proposition for a player who hasn't made it through a full game in a month.

Todd Heap, Week 5
Heap has been slowed this week by a hamstring injury and could wind up being one of Ken Whisenhunt's famous game-time decisions. That's too bad considering the Vikings have given up 30 receptions for 281 yards to opposing tight ends. Keep an eye on the situation.

Todd Heap, Week 4
Heap had six catches for 61 yards last week. This comes after a one-catch effort the previous week. So which is it? We're still in a feeling-out period here, so look elsewhere for a starter at this point.

Todd Heap, Week 3
Heap had just one catch last week and has three for the season. There's just not enough here for him to be in your lineup.

Todd Heap, Week 2
Heap is going to continue to get some opportunities here and there for the Cards. He had two grabs for 40 yards in the opener as Arizona tries to keep the safety out of the box. But he won't catch enough to be a huge factor.

Todd Heap, Week 1
Heap is still a matchup problem after all these years when he's healthy. And he's healthy now. The Cards may use him to help take some safety pressure off Larry Fitzgerald. That could be worth a few grabs. Kevin Kolb is also a better underneath passer than he is on deep balls. Keep an eye on how Heap is used this week for possible pickup later, but if you have him, keep him benched, at least for now.
