Despite playing poorly during the Buffalo Bills’ current seven-game losing streak, Ryan Fitzpatrick said he was not concerned about the team drafting a quarterback next spring.
“It’s just something I can’t worry about,” Fitzpatrick told reporters Tuesday. “Just like last year I wasn’t worried about them drafting a quarterback. I’ve sat down with (coach) Chan (Gailey), and I’ve talked to (general manager) Buddy (Nix). The thing I can control right now is me playing better. For me, it’s been a process this year. I think I’ve learned a lot and grown a lot. Hopefully these last few games we can end on a good note.”
Maybe Fitzpatrick should be worried. He has not played well since signing a new contract earlier this season, and he was booed at home during Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins.

Week 17: Fitzpatrick vs. Patriots
Ryan Fitzpatrick has been a major disappointment the second half of the season, but he has a chance to make amends in Week 17. He will face the worst pass defense in the NFL and will be trying to sweep the Patriots in the season series.
Start Fitzpatrick in all leagues as a low-end No. 1 fantasy quarterback, first time we have been able to say that in months.
