Week 18: Dreessen vs. Bengals
Even with Owen Daniels back, Joel Dreessen has some fantasy value because QB T.J. Yates uses him in the offense. His value is towards the end of the first tier of tight ends so there are better options, but he still could help you against Cincinnati.

Week 9: Dreessen vs. Browns
Joel Dreessen has become a red zone favorite of QB Matt Schaub with three TDs in the past four games. The problem is that's about the only time he is seeing the ball with Owen Daniels remaining the No. 1 tight end in the offense. Just not enough balls to go around for Dreessen to consistently have receptions and yardage to make a fantasy impact.

Unless you have two starting tight ends in your league or you are in an old-school league that counts TDs only, then Dreessen should remain on the bench.

Week 6: Dreessen vs. Ravens
Joel Dreessen was the man last week against Oakland with 112 receiving yards and a touchdown. The absence of Andre Johnson contributed to those numbers and since Johnson will be out again this week, Dreessen will remain a factor for the Texans.

How effective will he be against a good Ravens' pass defense and will Baltimore be more aware of him after last week? Dreessen is still not reliable enough as a backup tight end to move into your fantasy starting lineup, but he is a No. 2 fantasy tight end at this point. Worth picking him up as for the bench, at least until Johnson returns.
