Week 7 - Choice vs. St. Louis

It was not a good week for Choice owners. You sit there and hold on to a guy for the sake of injury and just as it happens - he gets passed over for the next guy. The next guy is Demarco Murray and he will be the starter in place of the injured Felix Jones (out three weeks), not Choice. He has himself to blame after just 30 yards on eight touches and a costly redzone fumble last week.

The Rams hold the distinction of being the NFL's worst defense against the run. They allow a whopping 163 yards per game on 4.9 yards per carry. RBs have had their way vs. St. Louis: McCoy (137 total yards-2TD), Rice (164 total yards), and Torain (19-135-TD). Even secondary backs like Brandon Jacobs (67 total yards-TD), Ricky Williams (53 total yards) and Ryan Grant (52 total yards) have had success moving the chains against this defense.

Choice, No. 26 in our 4for4.com rankings, should see anywhere from 8-10 touches this week but will be a distant second option behind Murray. I would hesitate to play Choice this week but hold on to his roster spot to see how the situation with Murray plays out. Keep him benched.
