Dan Carpenter Week 17

Carpenter kicked a field goal and three extra points in last week's loss to New England.

This week, Miami takes on the Jets. The Dolphins have been putting up points but haven't been an offensive powerhouse this year. Carpenter does have some sleeper value here.

Carpenter had three field goals and three extra points in last week's win over Buffalo.

This week, Miami takes on New England. Carpenter is a risky play here, and the elements could come into play since the game is in New England.

Ranked #27 among kickers this week, there are options with more upside than Carpenter.

Dan Carpenter Week 15

Carpenter only had one field goal and one extra point in last week's loss to the Eagles.

Though he's had a roller coaster season, Carpenter has been solid once again in 2011. If Miami's offense were more consistent, his value would go through the roof.

Ranked #22 among kickers this week, there are better options than Carpenter.

Dan Carpenter Week 14

Carpenter kicked four extra points and two field goals in last week's win over the Raiders. He was the benefactor of an opportunistic Miami offense that couldn't be stopped for the first three quarters.

This week, Miami takes on the Eagles. The Fins have been putting points on the board for the last month, so Carpenter has some good sleeper value for the fantasy playoffs if you are looking for a kicker.

Ranked #16 among kickers this week, there are better options than Carpenter, but he might be a nice sleeper if you're desperate.

Dan Carpenter Week 13

Carpenter is expected to return in Week 13 after missing two games due to a groin injury.

Shayne Graham was a solid substitute for Carpenter during his time off, but Dan should be back in the saddle come Sunday.

Ranked #14 among kickers this week, Carpenter is somewhat of a risky play, but could have good sleeper potential if the Dolphins can move the ball.

Dan Carpenter Week 11

Carpenter knocked down two field goals and two extra points in last week's win over the Redskins. The Miami offense has clicked the last two weeks, so Carpenter's chances to score have increased dramatically.

This week, the Dolphins take on the Bills. Buffalo has given up a lot of points this season, so Carpenter and Miami should get opportunities to put up solid numbers.

Ranked #11 among kickers this week, Carpenter is worth starting in a deep league or as a bye week sub because of the favorable matchup.

Dan Carpenter Week 10

Carpenter had four extra points and a field goal as Miami moved the ball effectively in a Week 9 win over Kansas City.

Miami has a soft matchup this week against Washington, but Carpenter still won’t get the chances some of his counterparts on high-powered offenses will receive.

Ranked #19 among kickers this week, there are better options than Carpenter in Week 10.

Carpenter had a field goal and two extra points in last week's loss to the Giants. Miami's offense had success moving the ball early, but sputtered in the second half.

This week, the Dolphins take on the Chiefs. Carpenter still isn't worth owning based on his team's offensive inconsistency.

Ranked #27 among kickers this week, there are better matchups and options than Carpenter.

Dan Carpenter Week 8

Carpenter hit three field goals in last week's overtime loss to the Broncos. On Miami's only TD, they elected to go for two points instead of kicking the extra point.

This week, Miami plays the Giants. Considering the fact that Miami has been putrid in the red zone, Carpenter has a little more fantasy value with each passing week. They have been able to move the ball, so should continue to get chances to score.

Ranked #26 among kickers this week, Carpenter is not a good bet for scoring chances in a struggling offense, but if they do come, they could be field goals.

Dan Carpenter Week 7

Carpenter had two field goals in a Week 6 loss to the Jets on Monday Night Football. His chances were limited, as the Miami offense failed to get into scoring position, especially in the second half.

This week, the Dolphins take on the Broncos. Miami should have a little more success than last week, but nothing is for certain. They have played horribly in their last few games.

Ranked #15 among kickers this week, there are better plays than Carpenter, simply based on the fact that his team's productivity on offense is so low.

Dan Carpenter Week 6

Carpenter had three field goals and an extra point in Miami's Week 4 loss to the Chargers. His fantasy output has been up and down thus far, but he could be a good play as a bye week sub.

This week, Miami takes on the Jets on Monday Night Football. It will be a challenge for the Fins to punch it in, so Carpenter could get some field goal chances if Miami can move the ball.

Ranked #21 among kickers this week, Carpenter is a deep sleeper, but could be worth playing if you need a sub just for one week.

Carpenter hit three out of four field goals and one extra point in a Week 3 loss to Cleveland.

This week, Miami takes on San Diego. Fantasy owners that have Carpenter are benefiting from Miami's stagnant red zone offense. Just like last year, he's had a lot of field goal opportunities due to offensive ineptitude.

Ranked #30 among kickers this week, there are better options than Carpenter this week.

Carpenter made two field goals, but also missed two, in Miami's Week 2 loss to the Texans. His inconsistency sunk the Dolphins' momentum on numerous drives.

This week, the Dolphins travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns.

Ranked #17 among kickers this week, there are better options that starting Carpenter as your kicker.
