Davone Bess Week 17

Bess had three catches for 39 yards and a touchdown in last week's loss to New England. Though he put up nice numbers, he wasn't targeted consistently throughout the game.

This week, Miami takes on the Jets. Bess has some value here, but his inconsistency will keep most fantasy owners away.

Ranked #69 among WRs this week, there are better options than Bess.

Davone Bess Week 16

Bess didn't have a reception in last week's win over the Bills. He did have two rushes for nine yards, including one attempt near the goal line.

This week, Miami takes on New England. Bess hasn't panned out this season and lost all of the momentum he built last year. It's questionable if he'll have fantasy value in 2012.

Davone Bess Week 14

Bess caught four balls for 27 yards and a touchdown in last week's win over Oakland. He got a few red zone looks, and it was nice to see him take one over the goal line.

This week, the Fins play the Eagles. Bess isn't producing consistently enough to warrant owning him in most leagues, even PPR leagues. Matt Moore throws mostly to Brandon Marshall and spreads the ball around otherwise, but the Miami offense isn't pass-heavy enough for Bess to be a fantasy stud.

Ranked #72 among WRs this week, Bess isn't worth owning or starting at this point in the season.

Davone Bess Week 13

Bess had two receptions for 29 yards in last week's loss to Dallas.

This week, the Fins take on the Raiders. Bess hasn't been a big part of the offense all season, and has been more of a bail-out option, even on third down.

Ranked #68 among WRs, there are better options on the free-agent market than Bess.

Davone Bess Week 11

Bess caught four balls for 37 yards in last week's win over Washington. He wasn't a huge factor, with Matt Moore looking for tight end Anthony Fasano more on third down. Bess has continually underwhelmed fantasy owners this season.

This week, Bess and the Fins take on Buffalo at home. The Miami offense should be able to take advantage of a mediocre Bills secondary, but that might not translate to more fantasy production for Bess.

Ranked #54 among WRs this week, Bess isn't worth starting or owning because of his inconsistency.

Davone Bess Week 10

Bess had only one reception in last week’s victory over the Chiefs. In a game in which the Miami offense exploded, Bess played no part.

This week, the Dolphins take on the Redskins. Given the inconsistency Bess has shown thus far, it would be hart to start him this week.

Ranked #71 among WRs this week, Bess isn’t worth starting or owning until he starts getting more regular touches week-to-week.

Davone Bess Week 9

Bess caught three balls for 43 yards in last week's loss to the Giants. Matt Moore looked for him often, especially on 3rd downs.

This week, Miami takes on the Chiefs. Bess will get his share of targets, but is relatively ineffective fantasy-wise because the Dolphin offense fails to gain any momentum.

Ranked #62 among WRs this week, there are better options than Bess, but he's worth stashing on your roster if you are in a super-deep league.

Davone Bess Week 8

For the first time all season, Bess was consistently targeted throughout the game by Matt Moore, finishing with seven catches for 52 yards. Most of his opportunities were on 3rd down, with Bess returning to his 2010 form as a great possession receiver.

This week, Miami takes on the Giants. Bess could be a deep sleeper if Moore continues to look his way.

Ranked #55 among WRs this week, Bess is worth starting in a deeper league as a flex, or in PPR leagues. There is still a bit of risk in starting him, but his stock could be rising if he turns in another solid week.

Davone Bess Week 7

Bess had two catches for 21 yards in last week's loss to the Jets. With new Dolphins QB Matt Moore making his first start, Bess' opportunities have decreased, even on 3rd down.

This week, Miami plays the Broncos. Bess has the potential to break out, but doesn't seem to be an integral part of the Moore-era Dolphins, at least not yet.

Ranked #58 among WRs this week, Bess is not worth owning or starting unless you are in a super-deep league.

Davone Bess Week 6

Bess only had three catches for 21 yards in a Week 4 loss to San Diego.

With new QB Matt Moore at the helm, Bess and the Fins take on the Jets this week. Brandon Marshall will receive considerable attention from the New York secondary, so Bess could have the chance to put up some nice stats in this one. However, it is more likely that the Dolphins offense stalls, as it has most of the season.

Ranked #56 among WRs this week, Bess isn't worth playing because of the matchup.

Davone Bess Week 4

Bess had five catches for 52 yards last week and remains Miami's go-to receiver on third downs. His targets per game so far are very similar to his numbers last season.

This week, Miami travels to San Diego to take on the Chargers. Miami might be throwing often in this one, especially if they get behind early.

Bess remains a good play in PPR leagues or as a flex in deeper leagues.

Davone Bess Week 3

Bess only had two receptions in a Week 2 loss to Houston. However, one went for 41 yards.

In Week 3, Miami takes on Cleveland. Bess should have an easier time getting open in the slot this week, especially on third down. His production hasn't been very consistent lately, but this is the type of game where he can do some damage.

Ranked #48 among WRs this week, it's tough to start Bess unless you're in a super deep league.

Davone Bess Week 2

Bess had five catches for 92 yards in Miami's Week 1 loss to New England. He picked up where he left off last season as the Dolphins' solid number two option in the passing game.

This week, Miami takes on Houston. Bess will get his share of targets, though he isn't one of the primary targets when the Dolphins get in the red zone.

Ranked #40 among WRs this week, Bess is worth playing only in deeper leagues as a flex or in PPR leagues.

Davone Bess Week 1
Bess was a bright spot for the Dolphins last year, emerging as a great possession receiver and slot option.

In Week 1, Miami takes on New England. The Patriots will devote plenty of attention to Brandon Marshall, so Bess should have his share of opportunities, even though this isn't the easiest matchup for the Miami offense.

Ranked #37 among WRs this week, Bess is worth a start in deeper leagues or PPR leagues.
