Bernard Berrian vs Packers
With a rookie QB getting his first start there is always a chance that Berrian becomes fantasy relevant but not likely. Berrian has the rightful rap as being a WR that doesn't fight for receptions in traffic. The fact that Berrian is the Vikings best downfield speed threat may be the best answer as for why Vikings may have their worst season since Head Coach Les Steckl punched himself in the face to try to motivate a 3-13 Vikings team..

Week One - Bernard Berrian vs San Diego
So you say there's a chance? Berrian has been absent for the Vikings and Brett Favre didn't like him or his flashy pink suits. Favre wouldn't throw to him last year. As the Vikings best speed receiver downfield, Berrian was targeted succesfully by new QB McNabb in the preseason and something could spark between these two. Berrian also isn't injured yet so he can use his speed on deep routes. I can't suggest starting him this week vs San Diego but keeping an eye on his waiver potential is a good idea..you can't deny that he has talent and could emerge as a 3rd WR this season.
