Last night, Green had limited work. He looked pretty good, but no full contact; coaches discretion.
Knowing Ahman, he wants to go full-bore right now.
The Packers staff would rather work him "into practice" and see what he's like the final week of the preseason. No reason to take hits on the legs just yet.
He looks great, muscular stature, cut and sculptured beyond the norm, as Green is a workout freak.
I will get an even better gauge after the 2nd preseason game vs. Atlanta, but as of right now, I expect Green to be the Packers starting RB on opening day Sept. 10th vs. the Bears.
